Висвітлено загальну суть та еволюцію техніко-економічної парадигми. Згруповано позиції видів економічної діяльності промисловості України відповідно до чотирьох секторів за рівнем технологічності. Проаналізовано технологічну структуру промисловості м. Львів за 2005–2011 рр. Описано характер трансформації технологічної структури Львова за період 2005–2011 рр. Зазначено вплив Львова як регіональної метрополії на формування технологічної структури промисловості прилеглої території.
In process of historical development, economic system moves in the form of evolutionary or revolutionary changes from one technical and economic paradigm to the next. Each technical and economic paradigm includes dominant technologies and production, which can be classified in terms of manufacturability. To analyze the technological structure of the industry, the positions of economic activities of Ukraine’s industry, according to four sectors in terms of manufacturability are grouped. The technological structure of the city industry by 2005–2011 years is studied. The transformation of the city technological structure during this time is detected. It can be described as follows: 1) the part of low technological production is growing up in manufacturing industry; 2) excessive sensitivity to economic instability is significant. The worst of it that economic instability has affected the pattern of investments, which in 2009 have decreased the share of FDI in high-tech industries sector by 25 percentage. This can be explained by: focusing of the economic agents on the service sector where metropolitan functions of the city are concentrated and the rapid development of IT industry, which is the epicenter of post-industrial transformation. It is pointed to the important role of the metropolis in shaping the technological structure of the surrounding area. For the post-industrial development in the technological field, Lviv has to overcome the technological gap to balance the technological structure that will ensure sustainability of the economic system. Being concentrated in the regional metropolis High-tech production will allow it to become the core of high-tech industries of the West region of Ukraine.
