Досліджено сучасний стан органічного землеробства в Україні, позитивні та негативні сторони ринку даної галузі. Визначено основні проблеми та шляхи їх вирішення на основі зарубіжного досвіду. Рекомендовано підходи удосконалення існуючої фази розвитку органічної сільськогосподарської продукції й те, що ефективність роботи підприємств, які виготовляють органічну продукцію і розвиток усього органічного виробництва мають залежність від рівня розвитку системи його сертифікації. Заохочено до використання зарубіжного досвіду підтримки виробників органічної продукції. Звернено увагу на важливість законодавчого закріплення адміністративних регуляторів органічного виробництва та державну підтримку у вигляді дотацій, що є компенсуванням даних втрат під час періоду в діяльності підприємства на етапі переходу до органічного виробництва.
The article describes the concept, meaning and benefits of organic agriculture both for Ukraine and the world in the whole. The current state of organic farming in Ukraine and the positive and negative aspects of this market sector are researched. The main problems and solutions based on international experience are determined. The need for investments for the following growth of organic production in Ukraine is reported. Attention is paid to the legal framework and economically grounded and productive supervisory system to be attractive to foreign and domestic investors. The need for concerted and targeted support to organic farming, especially the development and implementation of the national action plan that can aid the development of production and the market is submitted. It is called to continue the involving organic subjects in the curriculum of higher education institutions in Ukraine. It is resolved, that the essential and important condition for the implementation of state policy in the sphere of food and raw materials safety is settling the market of organic products in Ukraine. In addition to the problems identified in the area of organic production the author of the article evolves those requiring urgent solution, namely the lack of state support and promote organic producers; lack of regular channels coordination; limited range of products; lack of proper marketing experience in the implementation of such products; lack of consumers’ erudition concerning the peculiarities of organic products and pricing to organic production. Approaches to improving the current phase of development of organic agricultural products are recommended. It is stated that the performance of companies that produce organic products and the development of the whole organic production are dependent on the level of development of its certification. The author encourages the use of international experience in supporting organic producers. Attention is paid to the importance of organic production legislative consolidation of administrative controls and state support in the form of grants to compensate the losses during the period of the enterprise transition to organic production.
