Сучасний розвиток економіки потребує використання нових наукових знань та інновацій. Стабільний розвиток регіону, підвищення життєвого рівня громадян, підвищення конкурентноздатності продукції в сучасних умовах можливе тільки завдяки активному освоєнню різних видів нововведень. Тому актуальними є дослідження, які дозволяють встановити стан, проблеми та методи підтримки інноваційної діяльності. На прикладі Тернопільської області досліджено стан інноваційної діяльності. Проаналізовано сучасний стан інноваційного розвитку промислових підприємств Тернопільщини. Виявлено основні регіональні проблеми, пов’язані з інноваційною діяльністю. Запропоновано ряд першочергових заходів, які потрібно вжити для сприяння інноваційній діяльності.
Intensity and scales of innovation process in the country define the general features of the power of the innovation activity impact on economic development of regional enterprises. Sustainable development of the region, increasing of living standards, improving product competitiveness in modern conditions is possible only through the active development of different types of innovations. That is why investigations which can determine the situation, problems and methods of innovation activity are of interest at this time. To estimate the intensity of innovation activity it is possible to use indicators such as number of enterprises engaged in innovation, number of innovation products and processes, expenditures on innovations and sources of these expenditures, number of employees who perform research and development activity, number of created and used advanced technologies and intellectual property rights, economic efficiency of scientific developments, product innovation performance and export intensity. The situation of innovation activity is investigated on the example of the Ternopil region. The current stage of Ternopil industrial enterprises’ innovative development is analyzed in the article. The main regional problems dealing with the innovation activity are discovered. This paper examines what factors contribute to innovative activity in the Ternopil region manufacturing sector, examines the effect of an industry's environment on a firm's ability to innovate. Top priority steps which must be done for innovation activity favoring are offered.
