Європейський вибір у напрямку реформи вищої освіти як основної стратегії державної освітньої політики є одним із найбільш обговорюваних питань. Тому виправданим є дослідження міжнародної співпраці у сфері вищої освіти в процесі входження вищої школи до європейського освітнього простору. З підвищенням ролі освіти у забезпеченні розвитку та конкурентоспроможності держав в Україні й зарубіжних країнах відбуваються істотні зміни в освіті. Міжнародна співпраця у сфері вищої освіти сприяє розвитку тих радикальних змін, які відбуваються в міжнародному співтоваристві: глобалізації професійних знань, інтернаціоналізації процесів вищої освіти, демократизації навчальних закладів. Міжнародна співпраця університетів є важливим напрямом оптимізації підготовки нової генерації фахівців, інтеграції нашої країни у світовий освітній простір. Саме тому в управлінні вищим навчальним закладом велику увагу слід приділяти міжнародній співпраці: розширенню міжнародних контактів, укладанню угод, організації міжнародних конференцій, симпозіумів, здійсненню спільних наукових проектів, обміну досвідом та інформацією щодо проблем управління вищим навчальним закладом.
European choice in terms of reform of higher education as a basic strategy of public educational policy is one of the most discussed questions. Therefore the research of international cooperation in the sphere of higher education in the process of integration of higher school to European educational space is justified. Higher education is a constituent of human development and progress of society. With the increase of role of education in providing the development and competitiveness of the states in both Ukraine and foreign countries certain substantial changes are taking place in education. International cooperation in the field of higher education has a large social, economic and political value and potential. It contributes the development of those radical changes which take place within international conglomeration: globalization of professional knowledge, internationalization of higher education processes, democratization of educational establishments. International cooperation of universities is an important direction of optimization of specialists’ training and integration of our country into the world educational space. International cooperation of higher educational establishment includes the following: expansion of international contacts, making the agreements, organization of international conferences, symposiums, realization of general scientific projects, exchanging experience and information about problems of management of higher educational establishment. International cooperation of universities is a constituent of innovative development in the sphere of higher education. The system of management of higher educational establishments requires modernization that is why the use of foreign partners’ experience will allow perfecting a management process in modern market conditions.
